My approach
Like the ocean, our inner world can hold many things at once - calm and turbulence, vulnerability and strength. Therapy is not about removing every difficult wave. It is about finding ways to move through them with greater safety, connection and confidence.
My work is warm, strengths-based, collaborative and trauma-informed. Rather than focusing only on symptoms or behaviours, I look at what may be happening underneath them - shaped by a person's experiences, relationships, culture and environment.
When working with the children, I see behaviour as a form of communication. I work with children and the important adults around them to build safety, connection, regulation and confidence.
For adults, therapy is a space to slow down, make sense of experiences and patterns, and build on your strengths - you do not need to arrive with everything figured out.
I offer therapy in English, Persian/Farsi and Dari, and welcome people from diverse cultural and life experiences.
For the storms, the calm, and everything in between.
